Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems holders put back RUB 12.89 billion bonds

Morgantown, W.Va., Nov. 13 – Mobile TeleSystems PJSC announced it repurchased RUB 12.89 billion of series 08 ruble-denominated bonds due Nov. 20, 2020 after holders exercised a put option on the securities.

On Nov. 12 the coupon rate for the bonds was increased to 10¾% from 8.15%.

Gazprombank, one of the lead arrangers of the bond, was the repurchase agent.

Mobile TeleSystems issued RUB 15 billion of the series 08 bonds on Nov. 16, 2010 with a five-year put option.

The telecommunications provider is based in Moscow.
