Brazil's Banco Sofisa to buy back $7 million 7¼% notes due 2011

San Diego, April 13 - Banco Sofisa SA will repurchase $7 million of its $85 million of 7¼% series 1 global medium-term notes due July 7, 2011 (ISIN: XS0374076155), according to a company filing with the London Stock Exchange.

The repurchase will settle April 20.

Following the transaction, $78 million of the notes remains outstanding.

Banco Sofisa is a Sao Paulo-based retail and commercial bank.
