CIBC to redeem remaining series 30 class A preferred shares

San Diego, May 26 - CIBC announced that it will redeem all issued and outstanding series 30 non-cumulative class A preferred shares for cash.

The preferreds will be redeemed on July 31 at C$25.75 per share. The C$0.30-per-share quarterly dividend announced May 26 will be the final dividend on the series 30 shares and will be paid on July 28 to shareholders of record on June 28.

The financial services company is based in Toronto.
