CRH America gets tenders for $51.3 million 6.4% notes in Dutch auction

Chicago, Aug. 24 - CRH plc said holders tendered $51,333,000 of the outstanding $300 million of 6.4% notes due 2033 issued by CRH America, Inc. and guaranteed by CRH plc in the cash tender offer for up to $100 million of the notes.

The total payment for the notes is $920 per $1,000 principal amount of notes, including a premium of $30.00 for notes tendered by 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 10, the early tender date. The amount was to be between $880 and $950 per note.

The tender offer expired at 11:59 p.m. ET on Aug. 21. It began on July 27. The payment date was set for Monday.

CRH also will pay accrued interest to the settlement date.

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. (866 834-4666 or collect 212 834-3118) was dealer manager for the tender offer. D.F. King & Co., Inc. (800 901-0068 or collect for banks and brokers 212 269-5550) was information and tender agent.

The subsidiary of building supply company CRH plc is based in Dublin, Ireland.
