MatlinPatterson reports 10.41% stake in Toreador Resources

Charlotte, N.C., June 13 - Investors led by MatlinPatterson Capital Management LP bought 107,500 shares of Toreador Resources Corp. between May 19 and May 28, it was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares were priced from $8.07 to $9.37 each, the filing said.

MatlinPatterson beneficially owns approximately 2 million shares, or 10.41%, of the Dallas-based oil and gas company.
