4.72 million common shares sold by Citigroup, Morgan Stanley in deal

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 28 - Tesaro, Inc. said it priced an $84.96 million public sale of stock with a $12.74 million greenshoe.
The company will sell 4.72 million common shares at $18.00 per share. The price per share is a 0.99% discount to the Feb. 27 closing share price of $18.18.
Citigroup and Morgan Stanley are the joint bookrunning managers.
Settlement is expected March 5.
Tesaro is an oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company based in Waltham, Mass.
