Senior Care Centers disclosure statement hearing adjourned to Oct. 15

Pittsburgh, Sept. 4 – Senior Care Centers, LLC’s disclosure statement hearing was adjourned to Oct. 15 from Sept. 3, according to a docket entry made Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The entry said an evidentiary hearing and arguments on a third-party release issue were held on Tuesday.

After the evidence and arguments were presented, Senior Care announced it would withdraw the third-party release provisions “and swap to a channeling injunction type concept,” the entry said.

Further amendments to the disclosure statement must be filed by 6 p.m. ET on Oct. 10.

Senior Care Centers is a Dallas-based skilled nursing and long-term care industry leader in Texas and Louisiana. The company filed bankruptcy on Dec. 4, 2018 under Chapter 11 case number 18-33967.
