Suntech America trustee assigns official creditor committee of three

New York, Jan. 22 – Suntech America, Inc.’s U.S. trustee, Andrew R. Vara, appointed an official committee of unsecured creditors to the company, according to a Thursday notice from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Members of the committee are Andries Schutte of Gintech Energy Corp. of Hsinchu, Taiwan; Todd Neilson of The Solyndar Residual Trust of Los Angeles; and Dongxia Hang of Wuxi Suntech Power Co., Ltd. of Jiangsu, China.

Suntech America is a San Francisco-based producer of solar panels. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-10054.
