Moody's rates Swire Properties A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 issuer rating to Swire Properties Ltd.

Moody's also assigned a provisional A2 rating to the proposed medium-term note program of Swire Properties MTN Financing Ltd., based on the unconditional and irrevocable guarantee of Swire Properties Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

"The A2 rating reflects the company's well-established franchise in commercial property investment and residential property development in Hong Kong," Moody's assistant vice president and analyst Kaven Tsang said in a news release.
