Stelco granted extension of stay under CCAA

New York, Feb. 23 - Stelco Inc. said the Ontario Supreme Court of Justice extended its stay period under the Canadian's Companies Creditors Arrangement Act to May 28.

The stay was to expire on Feb. 27.

The Hamilton, Ont.-based steelmaker filed for bankruptcy protection on Jan. 29.
