Moody's rates Star Energy notes B2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a provisional B2 rating, with a stable outlook, to the proposed senior secured fixed-rate notes to be issued by Star Energy Geothermal (Wayang Windu) Ltd.

Moody's also affirmed Star Energy's B2 corporate family rating, with a stable outlook.

"Star Energy benefits from favorable industry dynamics and the strong demand for energy in Indonesia, as the government is promoting geothermal energy in its effort to reduce the country's dependence on fuel oil or diesel for power generation," Moody's assistant vice president and analyst Ray Tay said in a news release.
