Thailand's Standard Chartered Nakornthon Bank proposes to issue 40 billion baht of debentures

New York, Sept. 26 - Standard Chartered Nakornthon Bank said it received approval from its board of directors on its proposal to issue up to 40 billion baht of debentures.

The issue will carry a tenor of up to five years and may be structured as more than one tranche.

The Bangkok-based financial institution will seek shareholder approval on the proposal at its Nov. 11 meeting.
