New Issue: Stamford, Conn., sells $50 million of general obligation bonds

New York, Jan. 23 - The City of Stamford, Conn., priced $50 million of series 2013 general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet.

The bonds (Aa1/AAA/) were sold competitively, but the issuer did not immediately return calls for the winning bidder.

The bonds are due 2014 to 2033 with 1.5% to 4% coupons.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements to be undertaken by the city.
