S&P: Sri Lanka Telecom view stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised its outlook on Sri Lanka Telecom Ltd. to stable from negative and affirmed its B+ foreign-currency and BB- local-currency corporate credit ratings.

The outlook is in line with the B+/B foreign-currency and BB-/B local-currency sovereign credit rating on the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

The rating continues to reflect by the long-term rating on the sovereign given its government ownership and exposure to domestic revenue and regulated sector, according to the agency.
