Southaven Power creditor granted $91.73 million secured claim

Pittsburgh, Nov. 21 - Southaven Power, LLC creditor NEGT Energy Trading - Power, LP will have a $91.73 million secured claim against Southaven, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

NEGT's claim consists of $73.79 million in principal and $17.94 million in interest.

According to the release, the claim ruling was made in response to Southaven's objection to the NEGT claim.

Southaven Power is an energy and transportation company based in Southaven, Miss. It filed for bankruptcy on May 20, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-32141.
