S&P affirms Shinkong Insurance

Standard & Poor's said the BBB+ long-term insurer financial strength and counterparty credit ratings on Shinkong Insurance Co. Ltd. were affirmed. The outlook is stable.

S&P said the ratings reflect the company's satisfactory market position, good operating performance and good liquidity.

These factors are counterbalanced by the company's reduced capitalization, as a result of its rapid growth in recent years and its relatively high exposure to group-related investments.
