S&P affirms Samarco Mineracao

Standard & Poor’s said it affirmed its BBB- corporate credit rating on Samarco Mineracao SA. The outlook remains stable.

S&P said the ratings affirmation reflects the agency’s opinion that a potential further downgrade of Vale wouldn't immediately trigger a downgrade of Samarco if its financial risk profile continues improving, as S&P expects.
