Thailand's Sahaviriya Steel plans to double debentures issue to $300 million equivalent

New York, Oct. 7 - Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL said it plans to ask for shareholder approval to double the size of its proposed debentures issue to a maximum amount of $300 million equivalent in Thai bahts.

The tenor on the issue will not exceed 10 years, the company said in a release.

The Bangkok-based company makes hot-rolled steel.
