S&P gives AA- to Sacramento County sanitation bonds

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA- rating to Sacramento County Sanitation District Financing Authority, Calif.'s $250 million series 2008A-E subordinate refunding revenue bonds, issued on behalf of the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District.

The agency also affirmed its AA rating and underlying rating on the district's existing senior obligations and its AA- rating on the district's existing subordinate obligations.

The outlook is stable.
