Moody’s gives Royalty Pharma notes Baa3

Moody’s Investors Service said it gave a Baa3 rating to the new senior unsecured notes being issued by Royalty Pharma plc. There are no changes to Royalty Pharma's other ratings including the Baa3 senior unsecured rating.

Proceeds are for general corporate purposes as well as investments in social initiatives related to the access of essential healthcare services. These may include orphan diseases, diseases with leading causes of death, or diseases that are underserved by research and treatment options.

The outlook remains stable.
