By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, March 17 – Ryckman Creek Resources, LLC’s committee of unsecured creditors received court approval to retain Greenberg Traurig, LLP as legal counsel retroactive to Feb. 12, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Greenberg Traurig will

• Advise the committee in its consultations with Ryckman;

• Assist the committee in investigating the acts, conduct, assets, liabilities and financial condition of the debtors, operations of its businesses and the desirability of continuing or selling such businesses or assets;

• Assist the committee on analyzing the claims of the debtors’ creditors and its capital structure and in negotiating with holders of claims and equity interests, including analysis of possible objections to the nature, extent, validity, priority, amount, subordination or avoidance of claims and/or transfers of property in consideration of such claims;

• Advise and represent the committee in matters arising in these cases;

• Appear in court;

• Prepare any pleadings on behalf of the committee; and

• Perform any other legal services that may be required.

Greenberg’s attorneys charge between $160 and $1,250 per hour and are seeking reimbursement from the court.

Ryckman Creek is a Houston-based gas storage services company. It operates as a subsidiary of Peregrine Midstream Partners, LLC. Ryckman filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 on Feb. 2. The case number is 16-10292.
