Reichhold U.S. trustee ordered to appoint non-union retiree committee

Pittsburgh, Feb. 24 – The U.S. trustee for Reichhold Holdings US, Inc.’s bankruptcy case was ordered to appoint an official committee of non-union retirees for the case, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee will represent non-union retirees who are receiving benefits under the Retiree Welfare Programs. Appointment was ordered at the company’s request.

Reichhold supplies resins for the industrial, transportation, construction, marine, consumer and graphic arts markets. It is based in Durham, N.C. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 30 under Chapter 11 case number 14-12237.
