RBC to price five-year redeemable fixed-rate notes with 2.2% coupon

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 10 – Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 2.2% redeemable fixed-rate notes due Jan. 31, 2025, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable semiannually.

The payout at maturity will be par.

The notes will be callable semiannually in whole at par after two years.

The notes (Cusip: 78014RBY5) will price on Jan. 29.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC will be the agent.
