RBC redeems trigger phoenix autocallables tied to Silver Wheaton

Madison, Wis., Aug. 23 - Royal Bank of Canada said it redeemed its $25,176,930 of outstanding trigger phoenix autocallable optimization securities linked to the common stock of Silver Wheaton Corp. due May 17, 2012.

The securities (Cusip: 78009C373) were redeemed on Aug. 17 at par.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA was the redemption agent.
