RBC drops plans for 13.05% reverse convertibles linked to Deere

By Laura Lutz

Des Moines, April 8 - Royal Bank of Canada amended an earlier 424B2 filing, eliminating plans for an issue of 13.05% reverse convertible notes due July 31, 2008 linked to the common stock of Deere & Co.

The planned issue was one of 36 announced in a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 4. It was omitted from an amended version of that 424B2 filed on Tuesday.

The notes were expected to price on April 25 and settle on April 30.

RBC Capital Markets Corp. was the agent.
