Argentina's Rombo to sell Ps. 50 million variable-rate notes at par

Pittsburgh, Dec. 11 - Rombo Compania Financiera SA will sell up to Ps. 50 million of variable-rate notes due 2011 at par under its $400 million global notes program, according to a company news release.

The minimum subscription amount will be Ps. 300,000.

Standard & Poor´s International Ratings, LLC Sucursal Argentina has assigned an raA- rating to the notes, and Fitch Argentina Calificadora de Riesgo SA has rated the notes AA-(arg).

Proceeds of the issuance will be used to refinance debt.

BBVA Banco Francés SA and Citicorp Capital Markets SA are the placement agents.

Rombo is a Buenos Aires financial company.
