Taiwan's Ritek buys back $10.4 million 0.5% convertibles

New York, Jan. 6 - Ritek Corp. said it bought back $10.40 million of its 0.5% convertible bonds due 2007.

The company paid 120.538% of par for the securities for a total of $12.536 million.

Ritek has now bought back $168.6 million of the convertibles out of the original $175 million.

The Taiwanese optical disk, photonics and electronics company previously said on Jan. 3 that it bought back $35.06 million of the convertibles at 120.444% of par, on Dec. 21 that it bought back $15.692 million at 119.57% of par and on Dec. 3 that it bought back $10.29 million at 119.324% of par.
