New Issue: Malaysia’s RHB issues RM 750 million 4.82% 10-year subordinated notes

Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 27 – RHB Bank Bhd. said it issued RM 750 million of 4.82% subordinated notes on Wednesday.

The 10-year notes are non-callable for five years.

The subordinated notes will qualify as tier 2 capital of the bank, according to a Bursa Malaysia notice.

Proceeds will be used for general working capital and other corporate purposes.

The bank is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
