Republic Airways receives court approval for plan of reorganization

New York, April 20 – Republic Airways Holdings Inc. said that its plan of reorganization was approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Thursday.

The airline expects to emerge from Chapter 11 as a private company before the end of April.

Based in Indianapolis, Republic Airways is a passenger and air freight service company. It filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 25, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-10429.
