By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Dec. 30 - Renew Energy LLC's asset sale order has been stayed pending a Jan. 6 further hearing, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.

As previously reported, ALL Fuels - Jefferson LLC has asked the court to reconsider the sale order.

The hearing on the reconsideration motion is scheduled for Jan. 14. Judge Thomas S. Utschig said none of the parties at Wednesday's hearing could say whether the sale would close before Jan. 14.

The sale cannot close before the Jan. 6 hearing, according to the filing.

Renew Energy, a Jefferson, Wis., ethanol producer, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 30, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-19491.
