Regency Centers files automatic shelf for stock, preferreds, debt

Madison, Wis., May 26 - Regency Centers Corp. and Regency Centers, LP filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares, warrants, purchase contracts and units for Regency Centers Corp. and debt securities for Regency Centers, LP.

The preferreds, depositary shares, warrants and purchase contracts and the debt securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Based in Jacksonville, Fla., Regency Centers is a real estate investment trust that owns and manages grocery stores and shopping centers.
