Former Ritz Camera's plan approved by majority of voting creditors

Pittsburgh, April 13 - RCC Liquidating Corp.'s plan of liquidation was approved by a majority of voting creditors, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Specifically, 752 holders, or 97.28% in number, of $99.59 million, or 85.85% in amount, of general unsecured claims voted to accept the plan, while 21 holders, or 2.72% in number, of $16.42 million, or 14.15% in amount, of these claims voted to reject it.
A total of 13 creditors holding $129,950 of general unsecured claims abstained.
The plan confirmation hearing is scheduled for April 20.
RCC Liquidating was formerly Ritz Camera Centers, Inc., a Beltsville, Md.-based specialty camera and image chain that filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 22, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10617.
