Ravelston stay period extended to April 18

Pittsburgh, Feb. 7 - Ravelston Corp. Ltd.'s receiver, RSM Richter, Inc., obtained an extension to the company's stay period in its Companies Creditors' Arrangement Act restructuring, according to a filing with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

The company's stay period was extended to April 18 from Jan. 31.

Ravelston, the Toronto-based parent of media company Hollinger Inc., filed for protection under the Companies Creditors' Arrangement Act on April 20, 2005.
