Moody's: Risks for Asia Pacific firms

Moody's Investors Service said that uncertain investor confidence, inconsistencies in exit strategies and increasing M&A activity are key challenges to the improving credit trend among Asia Pacific corporations in 2010.

The agency said it expects the corporate ratings trend will continue to improve this year, but it also believes that 2010 will be a year of uncertainty and volatility.

Risks of renewed financial sector distress among advanced economies and another sovereign debt crises are also potential destabilizing factors, Moody's said.
