S&P: Rand Water outlook lowered to negative

Standard & Poor's said it revised its outlook on Rand Water to negative from stable and affirmed the long-term local and foreign currency corporate credit ratings on Rand Water at A and BBB+, respectively, and the long-term South Africa national scale rating at zaAAA.

The rating actions on Rand Water follow similar actions on the Republic of South Africa (foreign currency BBB+/negative/A-2; local currency A/negative/A-1) on March 28.
