Radnor plan confirmation hearing pushed back to Sept. 4

By Jennifer Lanning Drey

Portland, Ore., July 14 - Radnor Holdings Corp.'s hearing for approval of its plan of liquidation was continued to Sept. 4, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Prior to the hearing, the company plans to file an amended plan of liquidation reflecting the resolution of objections previously raised by the U.S. Trustee and Wells Fargo Bank, NA, according to the filing.

Radnor's plan confirmation hearing was originally scheduled for June 18 but was pushed back to July 16 due to tax claims that were unresolved at the time.

Radnor, a Radnor, Pa.-based foam cup, container and expandable polystyrene bead manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 21, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10894.
