Quicksilver Resources files automatic shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., June 23 - Quicksilver Resources Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3-ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The registration covers senior debt securities, subordinated debt securities, guarantees of debt securities, common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares, warrants, purchase contracts and units.
The preferreds, debt securities, warrants and purchase contracts may be convertible.
Use of proceeds will be set forth in the applicable prospectus supplement.
Quicksilver Resources is a Fort Worth, Texas-based natural gas and crude oil exploration and production company.
