Thailand's Quality Houses lifts debentures cap to 30 billion baht

By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Feb. 26 - Quality Houses PCL's board of directors approved the issuance of an additional 10 billion baht of non-convertible debentures at its meeting on Wednesday.

The issuance is subject to shareholders' approval at an upcoming meeting, according to a notice.

Shareholders had previously approved the issuance of up to 20 billion baht of debentures. Quality Houses' latest proposal brings the total limit of debentures to 30 billion baht.

The debentures may be subordinated or non-subordinated and may be issued in baht, dollars or other currencies.

The securities will have maturities of no more than 10 years and coupons based on market conditions.

There may be a call option as well as a put option for the debentures.

The real estate developer is based in Bangkok.
