Precision Parts unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Dec. 23 - Precision Parts International Services Corp.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Tuesday by Region 3 U.S. trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee members include Greg W. Cashman of Golub Capital Inc., New York; Carter J. Balfour of Norwest Mezzanine Partners, LP, Minneapolis; Kenneth W. Smith of Gibraltar Industries, Buffalo; Sharon Zerman of Heidtman Steel, Toledo, Ohio; and John Eiting of Machine Concepts Inc., Minster, Ohio.

Precision Parts, a Rochester Hills, Mich., designer and manufacturer of high-precision metal components and subassemblies, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 12. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13289.
