Perella Weinberg hires Cory Hill as managing director in advisory

Morgantown, W.Va., May 16 – Perella Weinberg Partners announced that Cory Hill has joined the firm as a managing director in the advisory business.

Based in Los Angeles, Hill will work with Chris Mead, partner and head of the Los Angeles office, to provide strategic and financial advice to clients.

Hill joins Perella Weinberg from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a director in the global investment banking division focused on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations and financings.

Prior to that, Hill was a senior associate at Shamrock Capital Advisors. He began his career in investment banking as an analyst at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.

Perella Weinberg is an independent financial services firm providing advisory, asset management and energy securities research, underwriting and trading services to a client base that includes corporations, institutions and governments. The advisory business advises clients on mergers, acquisitions, strategic and capital structure matters, financial restructuring and capital raising.

The firm maintains offices in New York, Houston, London, Abu Dhabi, Denver, Dubai, San Francisco, Calgary and Los Angeles.
