Pappas Telecasting seeks to hire Mohsin Meghji as chief restructuring officer

Portland, Ore., June 2 - Pappas Telecasting Inc. requested court approval to hire Loughlin Meghji + Co. to perform restructuring services and to name its senior managing director Mohsin Y. Meghji as Pappas' chief restructuring officer, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

If approved, Meghji will advise Pappas on areas including debtor-in-possession financing, restructuring and the anticipated sale of the business.

Pappas will pay Loughlin Meghji hourly rates ranging from $275 to $650 plus expenses.

A hearing has been scheduled for July 1.

Pappas Telecasting, a private broadcasting company based in Fresno, Calif., filed for bankruptcy on May 10. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-10916.
