Frederick’s of Hollywood changes name to Old FOH with sale closure

By Kali Hays

New York, July 13 – Frederick’s of Hollywood, Inc. received approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to change the company’s name to Old FOH, Inc., according to a Monday order.

As previously reported, the name change is required under the company’s sale agreement with Authentic Brands Group, LLC, which closed on June 11.

Authentic was the stalking horse bidder for substantially all the company’s assets, including Frederick’s e-commerce business, intellectual property and all inventory maintained in the retail and e-commerce business.

The purchase price included $22.5 million in cash and the right to receive 25% of Frederick’s of Hollywood brand-related revenues in perpetuity after Authentic Brands receives $10 million in brand revenues under a revenue sharing agreement.

Frederick’s is a Los Angeles-based retailer of women’s intimate apparel and related products that filed for bankruptcy on April 19. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-10836.
