Pittsburgh, Sept. 16 – Oi SA announced Monday that legacy noteholders holding $8.82 million, €9.35 million and BRL 2.13 million in outstanding notes registered as default recovery entitlement beneficiaries as of the third monthly deadline.

According to a news release, payments to beneficiaries would be made on a future date in connection with Oi’s judicial reorganization plan.

The fourth monthly electronic instruction deadline will be Oct. 4.

Oi is a Rio de Janeiro-based telecommunications service provider. It filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy on June 21, 2016 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York under case number 16-11791.
