Buffalo, N.Y., May 25 – Northwestern Mutual Global Funding sold $500 million of 1.7% seven-year notes on Monday, according to a market source.
The bonds priced with a spread of Treasuries plus 45 basis points. The notes were talked in the Treasuries plus high 60 bps area.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.
The issuer is a special purpose statutory trust for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.
