Nomura to price 10-year callable step-up notes with 3% initial rate

San Luis Obispo, Calif., June 1 – Nomura America Finance, LLC plans to price callable step-up notes due June 24, 2025, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate will be 3% for the first five years, stepping up to 4% on June 24, 2020 and to 5% on June 24, 2023. Interest will be payable semiannually.

The payout at maturity will be par.

Beginning June 24, 2016, the notes will be callable quarterly.

Nomura Securities International, Inc. is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 65539ABX7) will price June 19 and settle June 24.
