S&P: Nokia view positive

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Nokia Corp. to positive from stable, reflecting the group's conservative financial policy, coupled with ongoing strong operating performance and cash flow generation.

The A long-term and A-1 short-term corporate credit ratings were affirmed.

The outlook revision reflects solid profitability and strong competitive position of Nokia's handset business, the group's strong results over the past 12 months and its minimal financial risk profile, S&P said.

Ratings benefit from the company's minimal financial risk profile, the agency noted.

As of March 31, pro forma adjusted debt-to-EBITDA ratio was 0.5 times.
