Moody’s changes Nissan view to negative

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook to negative from under review and confirmed the Baa3 issuer and senior unsecured ratings of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.

This rating action concludes the review for downgrade started on March 26, the agency said.

“The negative outlook reflects Nissan’s poor profitability and potential for further downside from the pandemic over the next 12 to 18 months, as well as the execution risk in Nissan’s turnaround plan,” the agency said in a press release.
