S&P keeps Nelnet on watch

Standard & Poor's said it will keep its ratings on Nelnet Inc. on CreditWatch with negative implications where they were placed on July 23.

"The ratings outcome will take into account legislative changes that are likely to significantly affect the student loan industry," S&P analyst Adom Rosengarten said in a statement.
