National Fuel Gas reports plans to price offering of fixed-rate notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 8 – National Fuel Gas Co. is selling fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bonds will have a make-whole call and then a par call.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, BofA Merrill Lynch and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including to repurchase and/or redeem all of the company’s 8.75% senior notes due May 2019.

National Fuel Gas is a Williamsville, N.Y.-based energy company.
