Fitch rates National Fuel notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it National Fuel Gas Co.'s $300 million of 6.5% notes due 2018 at A-.

Fitch said it currently rates the company's issuer default rating A-.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said that National Fuel's ratings and stable outlook primarily reflect the predictable performance of its natural gas utility segment operations in New York and Pennsylvania as well as Federal Energy Regulatory Commission-regulated regional operations of its pipeline and storage segment.
